Trivia

  • "Chrysopoeia" comes from Greek, and it denotes transmutation into gold, and from that to the philosopher’s stone. It’s generally accompanied with the image of the serpent eating its own tail, and generally with the phrase “All is one” accompanying it.
    • Both of these meanings of the term can also be applied to Minecraft:
      • The first meaning is analogous to piglins and their love of gold.
      • The second meaning is analogous to the fact that the player is effectively immortal. Since the player can use beds and respawn anchors to respawn indefinitely. Keep in mind, the serpent that eats its own tail is typically defined as an immortal dragon or monster that comes back to life when killed. Its immortality is represented by the fact that the serpent literally forms a loop with its body by eating its tail, and that the beginning of the serpent and the end of it are connected.
