Dip stick showing well above max
Just done an oil and filter change.
Fully drained and topped up with 4.5l. I believe the engine takes 5l
The dipstick readings are seemingly inconsistent.
Could it be residue or could I overfilled somehow.

Would a reading of the oil dipstick be inaccurate if the cars' angle is off?
This could be to either sides.

2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L V8 Magnum Oil Change Capacity vs Dipstick Reading
