What is the shortest possible time in which the Constitution could be amended?
What is the minimum amount of time required to amend the US Constitution? If the process needed to be expedited for some reason, and enough state legislatures agreed, could it be done in one day (or less)?

In Canada, how was it legal to pass the Constitution Act 1982 to require certain amendents by unanimity if not all provinces agreed to it?
