How to calculate the electromagnetic strength between an iron piece and an electromagnet IF both of them are not parallel?
I am sorry if this question is a bit silly, but I don't really know how to calculate the electromagnetic force between a magnet and an iron piece if they are not parallel to each other. The illustration is attached here.
Any kind of help would be…

Do superconducting electromagnets require less energy than resistive type electromagnets to create the same strength of magnetic field?
Do we require less power in the superconducting (cryogenically Cooled) electromagnet than the resistive type electromagnet?
If you have any figures or the voltage and current graph for both magnets, please share those stats.
If you know about any…

Grid of electromagnets influencing eachother
I'm trying to create a grid of electromagnets to move around some iron filings on a piece of paper. I made a prototype with a 3x3 grid made of some nails and enamaled wire, and but I've found that whenever I turn on one magnet, the others all seem…

Electromagnet with a pipe as the core
I have heard that applying a strong magnetic field to diesel fuel can positively affect the filtering out of microbial contamination. Assuming that is true:
I thought it would be simple to wrap a steel pipe with insulated copper wire (I used a 1"…

Preventing a circuit from blowback voltage from an electromagnetic coil
I've connected up the coil of a relay to a transistor, which is in turn connected to an Arduino Nano. The circuit is a timed relay switching circuit. I know that when the current to an electromagnet is turned off, the collapsing magnetic field…
