Since the last Ubuntu update a few weeks ago my laptop screen sometimes just freezes and is not responding anymore. I assume the pc is still running in the background because when I have an external Screen, I can still move my mouse there.
Does someone know how to solve this or get closer to the error which could cause this? At the moment I always need to restart my laptop to solve it.
Probably some error with the service for the gui?
I don't know what causes this. Sometimes it runs for a whole day without any problem. Sometimes it freezes in between a few minutes. The only other thing I've seen happening since the last update is, the chrome gui is really slow anytime I'm in a Teams call or are sharing my screen. It can lag for a few seconds until reacting.
