I have a Hp laptop with Ubuntu installation running from a dedicated partition alongside Windows 11. Till now I used to see a GRUB boot menu at the start to choose OS which worked perfectly. But following a recent Windows update I no longer see the boot menu, it just directly boots into Windows.
I have already followed How can I repair grub? (How to get Ubuntu back after installing Windows?) but it did not work for me so far.
I worked hard on that Ubuntu installation including my dev environment. If I have to cleanup and reinstall Ubuntu all over again then it'll be VERY painful.
Will greatly appreciate any help!
