While working with Ubuntu on my device, I was trying to install dos2unix, but failed due to an error E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a'. The command partially worked, with some processes giving an error of transport endpoint not connected.
Several online forums suggested reconfiguring the systemd package, but that too gives me an error (attached a snapshot). I've been trying to fix this since two days, with no solution working. I'm unable to run any sudo commands like sudo apt-get install or sudo apt upgrade. Solutions like rebooting my device also weren't working.
I also tried a solution from here, but it didn't seem to work.
