Background

I have a dual-boot installed on two SSD drives. One is Windows 11 and the other is Ubuntu Desktop 24.04.

Yesterday, my Ubuntu system crashed, and I can't enter tty shell. So I have to force restart.

Luckily, my system and all HDD/SSD drives are good.

Unfortunately, one SSD is unable to automount to /media when I click it like before.

Although I can mount it manually, I still want to known what happened after the crash. I hope this SSD can be automounted like other HDD/SSD drives when I click it from bottom menu.

Can anyone give me some advice?

I still haven't figured out why I can't automatically mount, but I'm going to use fstab to do this

finnally, fixed in windows11, SSD right click context menu. Maybe it used chkdsk command , not sure.
