San Sperate, Santu Sparau in Sardinian language, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Cagliari. It has a population of 8 323 and an area of 26.2 square kilometres (10.1 sq mi).[2]
San Sperate borders the following municipalities: Assemini, Decimomannu, Monastir, Sestu, Villasor.
