Chelonipus is a trace fossil ichnogenus attributed to turtles and testudines.[1] Chelonipus ichnospecies are known from the a number of locations including the Early Triassic of Wyoming and Utah,[1] Late Jurassic Morrison Formation , the Late Paleocene-Early Eocene Chuckanut Formation, and the Eocene of Texas.[1]
