Aqqum, also known as Tyshkanbay,[1] (Kazakh: Аққұм, Aqqūm, اققۇم; Russian: Тышканбай, Tyshkanbay) is a town in Aktobe Region, west Kazakhstan. It lies at an altitude of 175 m (574 ft).[1]
