I am an assistant professor of physics at the University of Zanjan in Zanjan, Iran. I received my PhD in physics in 2008 from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. I was a cofounder of the student branch of the Iranian Physical Society in 1993. Since 1994, I have taught almost all undergraduate and many postgraduate courses to physics students. My research interests span permanent magnetic lattices for ultracold atoms, quantum simulation, and physics education.
