I know this could seem a very naïve question, but is there a way to study Spontaneous Simmetry Breaking in the Hamiltonian formalism?
I have always seen SSB done in QFT through the Lagrangian and all that, but since, if i recall, constraints are involved, i was wondering how it's done in the Hamiltonian formulation.
I'm sure it can be done, i wonder how tho.
