Is electric charge something that truly exists as a fundamental property of particles, or is it simply a concept we created to explain the interactions we observe in nature?
We can observe the effects of charge, like in electric fields or when opposites attract and like charges repel—but is it possible to actually "see" charge itself? Or is it just a useful model for understanding how particles and forces behave at different scales?
