My family’s dog has been continuously howling for the past month and it’s really getting to us. It’s at the point we’re losing sleep due to him constantly howling even at night, he even does it indoors. Not to mention that they just ignore us when we do anything to calm him down, and we’ve tried everything. He’s laying down, not bothering to move and just howls even when we give him treats.

Drastic changes in behavior should always be checked by a vet. Usually dogs don't howl without any reason like being lonely. Your dog cannot tell you if he's feeling unwell or hurting, so howling might be his way of telling you that there's something wrong. Especially if he's howling all through the night, it means he loses just as much sleep as you do.
Just in case his howling is caused by tinitus or a constant noise he hears:
Have either a radio or a white noise generator running on mid - low volume close to his bed and see if that changes anything.
