For a while now, almost three weeks, my girl Layla has been sick with distemper, and it has already reached the neurological stage. She was under treatment,but hasn't improved. The contrary, she's getting worse, and she just doesn't act like herself anymore, she's clearly in a lot of pain, and i can't do this to her, force her to wait for her body to shut down, slowly and painfully. Out of my dogs, all of them got sick, she is one of the remaining. The other two had to be euthanised due to how quickly and badly they deteriorated. It has been hard, but i'll deal with that when this is over. My problem is, i have no more money anymore to put her down and let her rest. It all went into meds, vet consults, and the two prior euthanasias. I have no money, and i can't take more credits. I owe too muchdue to all i had to pay for treatment. I don't want to do this, i don't want to make it harder for her, but i have no way to let her go with a vet. In my country, the only "free" alternative is a pound three hours away by car, and is known to be extremely painfull, slow, and overall, stressing for the animal. I don't like this, but i need advise on how i can do this at home so she doesn't suffer anymore. I hate this, and i hate that i can't give her something better. But i need a way to put her down myself, quick and as painless as possible so she's not hurting anymore. A medication, a food, anything that can provide a quick euthanasia.
