The Nether Wastes is a biome in the Nether seen within the various cutscenes of Minecraft Legends. It is home to the Horde of the Hunt and the Horde of the Bastion.

Description

The Nether Wastes is characterized by the abundance of lava seas and netherrack, with ember particles flying from the lava. Unlike its barren base game counterpart, it is populated by various types of Nether vegetation characterized by sparce huge warped fungi and both types of nether fungi. Lanterns and cages with piglin runts inside can be seen hanging from the Nether ceiling by chains. Tall cliffs can be seen in the background. In the center of the biome is a table with a map of the Overworld placed on top, around which the piglin generals and the Great Hog discuss their plans. Some areas of the Nether Wastes, especially the one housing the Horde of the Hunt, is dominated by crimson fungi.
