I recently discovered my wood chipper's oil filler cap is missing. Assuming it fell off last time I used it, the engine has been uncapped for over a year.

Red dust around the negative terminal of the battery
Today I noticed some red dust around the negative terminal of the battery.
What could be the reason for this phenomenon, and is it a problem? Should I clean it up?
