Where is fuse box located on 1970 Econoline 300 ford van??

This is most likely a problem with the starter solenoid. On a truck it would be located on the starter side of the engine bay on the fender well. For your Econoline, look for it in the same general area, but it might be further back where you could access it from the dog tunnel. If all fails, follow the positive side cable from the battery and it will lead you directly to it. It should look like this:

You can sometimes tap on them with a hard object (like a hammer) to get them to work. You don't want to hit it hard enough to bust anything, but a good rap with hammer or the handle end of a screwdriver might loosen it up and get it to function.

Something else to check is to ensure there's a good connection to the two smaller posts shown in the image. One of them is the ignition wire which energizes the solenoid. If it is off or possibly got disconnected by a handy rodent, it wouldn't be getting power when you turn the key.
