I'm helping out an old mechanic friend, so I'm asking this question on his behalf.
This friend asked me if I could find a piece software that would help him find this kind of diagrams for many car brands and models that his customers bring in to repair.
Context: we are in Argentina, so his customers would bring in mostly Ford, Peugeot, Fiat, Renault and the ocasional Asian car (Chery, Toyota or Honda)
Thing is that he'd like to look for a piece of software that helps him consult this Valve Timing and other kind of services diagrams for wide spectrum of car models that arrive to the shop in one place instead of chasing down this information one by one using Google.
I don't know how's the scene in general on in other places, but it doesn't seem that car manufacturers give out service manuals here and there are certain software products that cover things like diagrams for replacing parts and some electrical diagrams, but when it comes to fine tuning engines, there's not much that he can find to give better support for his customers and provide a proper adjustment of the engine with the official specs from the manufacturers.
Do any of you mechanic friends from the interwebs know software products that are dedicated to solve this kind of Car Shops' needs?
