I am analyzing a cylinder leakdown across all 6 cylinders of about 90% in each cylinder. After repeatedly confirming it wasn't the valves or the head gasket, I removed one of the heads and poured 1 cup of isopropyl alcohol in two cylinders, to test piston rings. Both cylinders leaked out the whole amount of alcohol in 1 hr.
Does this confirm that my piston rings are leaking or is this a normal amount of leakage through a healthy piston? I do not have a healthy cylinder for comparison, they are all leaking the same amount.
