So recently I've been noticing a high frequency noise coming from the rear right side of my Volvo where the fuel pump is located. I took it to a mechanic where they agreed that the noise was indeed from the fuel pump and replaced it.
The sound is however still present and i cannot figure out what might be causing it, the mechanic did however tell me that this sound is considered a "normal working noise" which I have a hard time accepting due to how loud it actually is.
The noise is noticable from quite a distance and it penetrates the cabin which drives me nuts sometimes..
What could it be?
