I am a EE and a physicist by education, and own a sensor telemetry company. Basically, I am mostly a HW guy, but I do a lot of SW, particularly for embedded applications. I do write some code for Windows, and it is always in C# (VS2010/12).

My passionate hobby is Astronomy, and I have a well equipped robotic observatory, where I do various research projects. To that end I end up writing lots of code, again in C# (and some in Fortran, mainly because of scientific nature of my work). As of lately I have been developing an automated Photometric application, which takes any image taken on a telescope, compares it to my All-Sky Photometric catalog (with 50M stars), does all the necessary photometric reductions, and produces a list of 1000’s of image stars with their magnitudes etc.
