Introduction
If you find that your Maped Hand-Held Pencil Sharpener (Single Hole, Model 506600) is dulling, use this guide to replace or resharpen the blade.
Overtime, hand-held sharpeners wear out. As a result, people tend to throw away their sharpeners and buy a new one. This ultimately contributes to metal and plastic waste that is not easily degradable. Restoring the blade increases the lifespan and durability of a sharpener. It also reduces waste and is cost effective.
Steps 4 and onward require holding the blade for cleaning, sharpening, and putting back into the base of the sharpener. Handle the blade cautiously when proceeding with the steps.
