Hi! My name is Jazlyn and I am a third year student at UC Davis. I am majoring in design and minoring in communications. I hope to work in the UI/UX design or graphic design field. Some of my skills include using a variety of software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma, to name a few. Some of my accomplishments that I am proud of include being a Google certified UX designer and landing an internship with a nonprofit organization.
In terms of repair experience, I have mainly fixed software or things online. I am usually the designated tech person in my family, therefore I have a lot of experience with troubleshooting problems, researching solutions, and implementing fixes. I have also repaired an iPhone screen in the past. This repair was done because I had a crack on the phone screen and needed to trade in the phone. To avoid paying extra costs to repair it, I purchased the parts on my own and watched many videos and researched for many hours. In the end, I was able to successfully replace the entire screen.
Some of my hobbies include spending time with loved ones, listening to music, painting, and spending time outside. I also have a dog and a cat, whom actually get along. My dog is a German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix named Zeus. My cat is an unknown breed (rescued as a stray cat in our neighborhood) named Coco.
This project relates to me because I am using it to complete a bigger project for a class I am currently taking.
