Hi there! I'm Renata, an environmental scientist with a PhD in Marine Sciences specialized in ecosystem monitoring and remote sensing of the environment.

I get to see the planet we live in through many different perspectives as part of my work. I'm fascinated with how simple changes can impact entire ecosystems and I love studying scale-dependent environmental processes to see how small changes propagate through the environment.

I'm very much a technology-inclined biologist with a love for coding in Python and R in addition to playing around in QGIS and/or ArcGIS. I also dabble in graphic design with GIMP and Inkscape, and 3D modelling with Blender.
