I work at Red Hat with service providers on their advanced technology 5G initiatives. I have spent two decades at leading companies in the networking, virtualization, and cloud computing spaces. I've worked at startups as well as large companies. At VMware, I advised the world’s largest telcos and NEPs in virtualizing their critical real-time network functions, and worked on the VCE vBlock-based software-defined data center. At Cisco I worked on access routing, application delivery, and network management products. I was one of the earliest key contributors to the OASIS AMQP specification, which is widely used in cloud management and many IoT systems today. Currently I'm working on improving the automation of network management systems by using AI/ML techniques, and I'm contributing to the ENI working group of ETSI, as well as the IOWN Global Forum.
