FBGrab is a framebuffer screenshot program, capturing the linux frambuffer and converting it to a png-picture.

FBGrab can be used for making screenshots of virtually any application from traditional test applications on an X-windows desktop, as well as framebuffer applications.

Why doesn't /dev/fb0 exist?

I am attempting to install and use fbgrab, but it requires /dev/fb0 to exist. How can I create this file? My computer specs: Dell Studio 1555, ATI Radeon 4500, proprietary graphics driver
