PEAP WiFi authentication issues

Question

I've looked at similar posts on this topic but nothing so far is working.

Unfortunately I can connect to my Colleges Guest WIFI but not the actual WiFi. The school is running security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise and PEAP authentication.

Some of the things I’ve tried is:

1. changing the config file inside /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections. My config file does not have

   system-ca-cert=true
   

2. Attaching the schools CA Certificate (From the IT Deparment)

3. Changing the user name schema to Domain\Username
4. Trying to install drivers (however that’s a rabbit hole inside a rabbit hole) etc.
