I followed the instructions per this page. Now, I get this error:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 nvidia-cuda-toolkit : Depends: nvidia-opencl-dev (= 5.5.22-3ubuntu1) but it is not going to be installed or
                                opencl-dev
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

I have a fresh install of ubuntu studio 64bit (with latest updates just installed nvidia340.65 Graphics card Geforce GTX 750ti not sure whats happening. but all I am trying to do is get blender to see my card so i can render with my gpu

Run this command:

sudo apt-get install ocl-icd-opencl-dev

That solved it for me on Windows 10's bash (with Ubuntu 14). Was getting the same error.
