Note, I know I'm version or two behind. However, this error has been persistent through multiple versions. In the problem report an issue titled "nautilus crashed with SIGABRAT in g-assertion_message_expr()". I'm not the gui for anything other than clicking and dragging files around, so I have no idea what's going on.
I'm running an older machine that may be the cause of the issue. A Dell Inc. XPS 13 9380, with a Intel® Core™ i7-8565U × 8 processor. The last time I came to the forums with this issue I was told its likely a laptop environment issue. "This was on a different account, but the thread didn't go anywhere anyway."
