I'm a System Administrator. Recently, I upgraded 3 to 5 user desktops from Ubuntu 20.04 to Ubuntu 22.04. After the upgrade, most users are facing noticeable system slowness — particularly during login, launching applications, and general usage.
These systems worked smoothly on Ubuntu 20.04, and no hardware changes have been made. Here are some common observations:
