How large is the whole operating system, I'm unsure if I want to download it if I won't be able to have it on my computer.

the ISO (24.04.2) from https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntucinnamon/releases/24.04.2/release/ is 5gb...
Ubuntu recommends ~25gb for the install itself.
