I have been using Linux since before it was Linux but rather a novell networking product for which a tiny outfit in north Carolina called red hat was contracted to do the work. That initial version had a desktop called Visix. I started programming in 1967. My question is not about differences in Ubuntu versions. I would like to dual boot windows 10 pro with ubuntu on a lenovo thinkpad L13 yoga gen2 core i5 10th gen machine. I am concerned about any specific hardware compatibility problems experienced by users of this specific lenovo laptop either on installation or upgrade. I am unsure which version of Ubuntu to download to avoid any existing installion problems with unsupported hardware or problems which have turned up after the release of the most recent LTS version of Ubuntu. Anyone have an idea of which version of ubuntu is most compatible

Thank you
