For nearly ten years now I have upgraded my Ubuntu OS in May/June and in Nov/Dec and when the inevitable teething problems occur I have asked here for assistance and have always been able to sort the problems out with help from the community. This has been a win/win situation as I have then been able to help others with similar issues.

After upgrading to 25.04 from 24.10 my Bluetooth stack seems to be behaving strangely so I posted here to see if anyone else was having problems, but my post was closed as off-topic as:

"Bug reports and problems specific to development version of Ubuntu should be reported on Launchpad so that developers can see, track and fix these issues."

I do not want to report a bug until I am sure that one exists which is why I wanted to ask here first.

My problem is that my Logitech Lift mouse cannot automatically connect to bluetooth as it keeps getting a new MAC address after every boot. This didn't happen under 24.10. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Edit: I forgot to mention that this happens on my Ubuntu only Laptop.
