I had to reinstall the latest Chrome browser after I upgraded to 25.04. When I do a terminal update I get the following:
avid@david-XPS-15-9530:~$ sudo apt update
[sudo] password for david:

All packages are up to date.
Notice: Skipping acquire of configured file 'main/binary-i386/Packages' as repository 'https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb stable InRelease' doesn't support architecture 'i386'
This seems to indicate that the Chrome package won't automatically be updated. When I run the GUI software update no error message was shown. Should I ignore this error message or somehow modify the Chrome install. Any pointers would be appreciated.
