I got problem with the brightness, I'm dual booting my laptop, if I my laptop was in battery mode/unplug, my laptop screen is so dark, I cannot adjust the brightness even I'm restart my laptop, I've been trying to restart and entering the Windows and also trying to adjust the laptop brightness, it worked but if I reboot again and login to ubuntu it's not dark, but for a moment it's automaticly dark like I'm not even adjust the brightness.

  1. I've been trying figure out how to fix it from YT, Google, and Askubuntu ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQqvKnalipM&pp=ygU1aG93IHRvIGZpeCB1YnVudHUgYnJpZ2h0bmVzcyBkYXJrIGFuZCBjYW4ndCBhZGp1c3QgaXQ%3D Ubuntu 20.04 brightness adjust not working ) and it's doesn't even work, and I've been trying to figure out with ChatGPT and my ubuntu can't even start and infinite boot loading.
  2. Last afternoon I've been reinstall my ubuntu 24.04 LTS with my last week flash drive with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Formated file) and when I'm on "Try or Install Ubuntu" I can't even change the brightness (I'm not install ubuntu yet).
  3. After I installed ubuntu I'm still confused "the problem it's in my device or from Ubuntu?", after a moment I do sudo apt update && upgrade -y and customize my Ubuntu 24.04 LTS it doesn't even change my brightness problem.
  4. https://i.ibb.co/9kmHzn5Z/Screenshot-from-2025-05-16-21-26-07.png Everytime I'm reboot or start my laptop from shut down my brightness level always at the same position, even when I'm move it's doesn't even change.

Conclusion
When my laptop is not/in plug I can't even set the brightness at the middle level, low level, or high level, I only got 2 option:

  1. My laptop automaticly dim on startup (unplugged)
  2. My laptop automaticly high brightness/very bright (plugged)
I need help because I use my laptop for school and school project.

Thank you I hope someone can help with my problem.
