I have installed ubuntu along with windows after disabling BitLocker since BitLocker encryption didn't allow ubuntu installation. But after a windows update it automatically turned on the BitLocker and I have lost my ubuntu and the partition used for ubuntu is showing as not used the storage is 100% unused. is there any way i can recover my ubuntu and all the data's I have stored.

- Create an "Ubuntu Install Media", e.g. download the 24.04 ISO and Use "Balena Etcher" to write it onto a USB-device.
- Boot the Install Media, select "Try Ubuntu" mode.
- Use the tools available there to see if you can mount and access "/home/$USER/" (for your previous login name).
- If 3. does not work, then there are e.g. "Testdisk" (Linux Software to extract data from bad disks) to install and run, it might be able to help you.
- Make sure Windows cannot do the same again; Install Ubuntu as the ONLY OS, then use e.g. Virtualbox or VMWare to run Windows software as needed. Use Steam for games if you fancy that kind of things.
4. is more advanced than what I have the intention to describe here; I'd expect verbose descriptions to be available in other askubuntu postings though; so google!
