I have a HDD 3.5. I bought a cable (sata to usb) + power adapter (12V, 2A) for it. When I try to connect hdd to my laptop Dell 5510 I hear it (it started noising) but nothing happens.

Solution from here didn't help me. I tried different ports (3) but nothing help. Whai I miss out?
The HDD is not empty. It worked before on my desktop with same OS Ubuntu 24.
