How do I change icon files in Ubuntu 24.10? I tried with the File Manager -> Properties, but I do not see how to change the image of the file.

In the current GTK4 versions of Files (47 and 48), changing the icon of a single file through the "Properties" pane unfortunately is not any more possible. It probably was not (yet?) implemented during the transition to GTK4. You can still change the icons through the command line.
