I tried to install Ubuntu 24.04 on the Unobook 2 in 1 (Panasonic 3E, respectively, see https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/specification-updates/panasonic-3e-tablet-spec-sheet.pdf) from the year 2015. The notebook/tablet combination starts immediately the Win 10 22H2 EDU OS without the possibility of accessing BIOS beforehand. However, I could change the boot priority order to first USB HDD. However, Ubuntu has not started at all, neither from a bootable USB stick nor from an external USB HDD (differently from another PC, so both the USB stick and the USB HDD work), but started Win OS again after some seconds. It seems that there is a boot guard implemented, and I don“t know how to circumvent it. Although I can't update the unobook to Win 11, I'd like to keep the notebook for the years to come with Ubuntu. Does anybody have an idea how to outsmart the embedded Windows OS?
