I just need help, I want to install Ubuntu over Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon. When I try to install Ubuntu, I don't see any option to install Ubuntu alongside Windows 10. Rather, I see "install Ubuntu alongside Linux Mint". I didn't find any option to keep Windows 10. How can I replace Mint with Ubuntu in this dual boot system? Thank you for your help!

If you want to install Ubuntu to Replace the existing Linux Mint, When you come to this page, enter image description here

choose "Something Else".

The next page gives you the choice of Selecting the Partitions for EFI, Root, Home... Choose the ones that pertain to the existing Linux Mint and proceed with the installation.

Opt for formatting the "/" drive.

If you have a different partition for "/home", select it as /home for Ubuntu but Do Not Format. That way, all your personal stuff is preserved.

The new OS Ubuntu will replace the existing Linux Mint.

It is better to have a separate partition for "/home" since you can change your Distro without loosing your personal stuff.
