I'm installing 24.04.2 on a new Lenovo X13 Gen5. The installer hangs after this log entry:

ubuntu subiquity_log.8128[13292]: rsync: [sender] read errors mapping "/tmp/tmpwga6s50m/mount/var/lib/snapd/seed/snaps/gtk-common-themes_1535.snap": Input/output error (5)

I tried the installation twice now, both are stuck after this log entry.

Installation on a 1TB SSD, manual installation. A first installation with Erase disk and install Ubuntu and LVM worked out fine, however I wanted a different partitioning scheme, and now I'm stuck with this I/O error.

   /dev/nvme0n1p1 /boot/efi 1.13G, vfat
   /dev/nvme0n1p2 /boot 2G, ext4
   /dev/nvme0n1p3 [swap] 38G, Linux swap
   /dev/nvme0n1p4 / 128G, ext4
   /dev/nvme0n1p5 /home 824G, ext4

Is there anything wrong with this scheme?

The only issue that may appear within the scheme is possibly the differentiation between the / and the /home schemes. Based on the included vfat scheme, the difference in file systems may be resulting in compatibility issues. My guess to the vfat scheme may be that you are unable to install Ubuntu upon transitioning from Windows 10 or 11.
