I've actually followed the official guide to the installation on the ubuntu-help site, and also the guite on the TeXmacs site.
I've tried to run the commands add-apt-repository "deb http://ftp.texmacs.org/TeXmacs/tmftp/repos/apt/ yakkety universe" to add the universal repo but it still does not work.
