I'm having trouble starting Ubuntu after installing it. My first system is Windows 11 and the second one I would like to have is Ubuntu, but that's all I want. I am installing from a bootable pendrive. The pendrive is not detected by the BIOS at all. Only f12 and then I can run it. Everything installs beautifully and that's it. I restart the computer and there is no GRUB menu with system selection. I've tried all the advice on the internet and nothing works. BootRepair, sudo efibootmgr command and others do not work. It doesn't matter whether UEFI or LEGACY is set in Bios. Nothing.

Go into BIOS setting and select to boot the Ubuntu system from there. How it is presented depends on your BIOS. Could be similar to how you selected to boot from your USB drive in your BIOS. It will then load GRUB and consequently Ubuntu. By the way you should install in UEFI mode as far as I know.
