I have an old PC that I am planning to use as a server, but it uses DVI, which at the moment I have no cable/monitor/adapter for. I want to be able to get it set up with Ubuntu to the point that I can remote desktop it from my main PC to control it. I have only basic knowledge of ubuntu and Linux as a whole, so if you could explain your answer in detail/what it's doing, that would be greatly appreciated!
