Oddly enough when I try updating Snap Store it won't continue since it tells me Snap store is currently running. I tried using sudo apt update, but no luck.

Close the snap store application and open a terminal. Type snap refresh snap-storeand then hit enter. You will be asked for your password which you must enter.
