Synaptic opens only from the terminal with sudo synaptic Could someone give me her some suggestions, because I have searched the web and I can't find anything similar to this problem. The only place where I found some ideas was in Ubuntu forum:
gksudo gedit /usr/share/applications/synaptic.desktop # but I can't install gksudo
sudo apt-get remove --purge ibus
sudo apt-get install ibus
After this nothing happened.
