So I bought the LG Gram 14zb90q (14" 512GB SSD). I wiped the complete system and installed Kubuntu. Been running for couple of years works great. Decided to go to 2TB upgrade and reserved a 300GB unallocated partition to install the original Windows for testing. No Windows product key came in the box nor laptop. I think its buried someplace in the Phoenix bios maybe.
So my thought is this. Install Windows 11 from download. Reboot and try to find the key later.
My question is. Can I just download a Windows ISO onto a stick, do a regular installation. Will it trash my Grub and what should I do to recover it so I can dual boot into Windows when needed? Of course I will make backup.
