A few newbie questions:
Does Startup Disk Creator always ask for root password before writing a bootable USB? I think it says because its MBR? (Im using the GUI not terminal)
I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and don't recall needing to enter a password before when using this and want to check that this is ok/needed to run with privileges in case its better to write USB without it.
If I use this to create bootable distros other than Ubuntu (Mint for example) is this still a good USB writier to use?
I see UNetbootin, Rufus, Etcher recommended but as these would need installing I was hoping Startup would still be ok to use, but have read that it only works for Ubuntu bootable USB, is this correct? which of these would be most straightforward to use as alternatives and how to i install them as they are not available in the software centre?
